MARTA’S RECOMMENDATION

Te odio, pero bésame  (I hate you but kiss me) by Isabel Keats
Abstract:
Lucas and Candela have known each other since they were children. According to Candela, his was hate at first sight, but it happens that India is the best friend of both and are condemned to see each other often. Of course, every time they come together knives fly.
Everything indicates that things will continue like this forever, until Candela decides that the time has come to settle down. Despite hating the unexpected and surprises, is willing to embark on an expedition, none other than Kamchatka, to make sure that Victor, her boyfriend, is the man of his life. However, he has not counted on Lucas who, apparently, has a lot to say in the matter and is not willing to have his favorite redhead launch into such an adventure with someone other than himself.
But there are things that are impossible, after all, they hate each other forever ... or not?

Opinion:
I found it a very entertaining book, the truth is that it resembles more reality than many other romantic novels. Yes, it has many topics, but I still liked it a lot, she tells you the "funny" story between them, as her relationship of hate to love progresses, with her you will laugh a lot and feel a lot of tenderness for the adventures that they live.

SARAH’S RECOMMENDATION

Abstract:
Beginning with a dilemma about whether he spends more money on reading or smoking, George Orwell's entertaining and uncompromising essays go on to explore everything from the perils of second-hand bookshops to the dubious profession of being a critic, from freedom of the press to what patriotism really means.

Opinion:
George Orwell is one of my favourite writers and the themes that he is talking about in these essays are really interesting. He does the maths to know if he spends more money on reading or smoking, to fight against the prejudice that reading is a expensive hobby, he talks about his own experiences in working in a second-hand bookshop and working as a literary critic. He also talks about his time in school, his largest essay, where he tells us how bad was his time in the boarding school. Orwell will never let you down, it is always interesting and entertaining reading him and his essays keeps you hooked and it is not a heavy reading at all.  It is a writer that I will always recommend to read!

ROCÍO’S RECOMMENDATION

Abstract:
A beautiful and distinguished family. A private island. A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy. A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive. A revolution. An accident. A secret. Lies upon lies. True love. The truth.
We Were Liars is a modern, sophisticated suspense novel from New York Times bestselling author, National Book Award finalist, and Printz Award honoree E. Lockhart.
Read it.  And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

Opinion:
I loved this book. It has all the interesting elements to make me spend hours reading: mystery and suspicion, lies and secrets, fairy tales and emotion, dramatic moments, interesting prose and THE MOMENT. If there is something that I have loved, it is that feeling that suddenly everything makes sense. Highly recommended if you do not feel like reading another book more about teenagers but you still want to read another book of teenagers.
