What has she said?
Quote of Legend:
“Each day means a
new twenty-four hours. Each day means everything's possible again. You live in
the moment, you die in the moment, you take it all one day at a time.”
Quote of The
Young Elites:
“Be true to
yourself. But that's something everyone says and no one means. No one wants you
to be yourself. They want you to be the version of yourself that they like.”
Quote of The
Rose Society:
“The irony of life
is that those who wear masks often tell us more truths than those with open
faces.”
Quote of Warcross:
“Every locked door
has a key. Every problem has a solution.”
Why should we not
forget her and her work?
Marie is a contemporary author who writes about dystopian worlds and the
role that different people play in them to try to change the situations of
injustice and inequality that they face. They are stories that surpass the idea
of good and bad characters and that expose characters in shades of gray
(neither heroes nor villains) who are responsible for their actions.
